Paula Badosa announces her new coach

“Great days of training, already prepared for the next challenges! Come on team”. Paula Badosa published in his Instagram stories an image with who will be his new coach, until the conclusion of the season for now, the Valencian Jorge Garcia, and other members of his coaching staff with whom he was already working in his time with Javier Martí, when he decided to make a radical turn, leaving Barcelona to settle in Madrid.

Paula Badosa announced her break with Javier Martí in August 2021, after a year-long adventure since they had begun in September 2020, just days before facing Roland Garros and after the Girona closed her stage with Xavi Budó.

Badosa, 23 years old and 27th in the world rankings, knows Jorge García well, with whom she trained in 2011, during her grassroots stage in Valencia.

The coach was from 2008 to 2017 with a good friend of Badosa, the tennis player from Castellón Sara Sorribes, to later accompany Carlos Taberner in ATP from G-tennis at the Mas Camarena Restort in Bétera, Valencia.
