This weekend the 66th Argentine Table Tennis Championship will be held at the León Najnudel sports center, the National High Performance Center (CENARD) and at the Romero Brest Higher Institute of Physical Education; the organization will be in charge of FeTeMBA.

The San Juan Pablo Tabachnik will be present in the senior category, in singles and will compete on Sunday and Monday at the Romero Brest.

The athlete from San Juan, began to reap national championships from a very young age: Argentino Sub 14 in 1991 and Sub 17 in 1993, to later set a record so far unbeatable, when he became an Argentine Champion fifteen times between the years 1994 and 2011. Internationally he was South American Individual Champion Sub 17 in 1993 and Latin American Individual Champion Sub 17 in 1994. In addition, his record includes silver medals obtained in the Pan American Games in Mar del Plata 1995, Winnipeg 1999, Rio de Janeiro 2007, Guadalajara 2011 and Lima 2019, while he obtained bronze in Santo Domingo 2003. Another fact, difficult to match is his participation in three Olympic Games: Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008.

Currently, in addition to being active in competitions, Pablo works as coach of the San Juan table tennis team, which is preparing to intervene in the Binational Games, to be played in San Luis, in the month of November.
