The essence of sports

Serving and smashing, the collision of skill and appreciation

Athletes will be divided into six groups (Two wheelchair groups and four standing groups) For the competition, except for some minor modifications,Basically adopt the rules of ordinary badminton games. Each game adopts a three-game two-win system, and each game is divided into 21 points. All groups use the same height net

In the singles matches of the two wheelchair groups, the court is half-court, and if the badminton falls between the net and the line of service close to the net, it will be judged as a throw-in.

The competition in this group is both tactical and strategic. Athletes need to flexibly manipulate the wheelchair to move while fighting back the tug-of-war.

Among the four standing groups, the most impressive was the lightning fast smash of the athletes. Except for the standing group athletes with lower limbs who use the half court, all competitions in the other groups will be held on the standard court. The 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games also set up corresponding groups for athletes with short limbs.
