“The idea, promptly shared also by Farnese Pallacanestro, started with Max Del Conte and Stefano Vanoncini, respectively GM of Teate basket Chieti and coach of Pescara basket who, fraternal friends of the unforgettable Chicco Zorzi, contacted us to bring Campli, emblematic town of his career, a tournament that honored his memory; the rest is today’s history with an enormous team effort, especially by Max who has become a spokesperson with the other teams for logistics and sports organization ”.
“The main thing was to pay homage to the memory of a sportsman, a friend but above all a great player, an example of sportsmanship and a symbol of an entire city that has enjoyed his exploits” concludes the honorary president of Farnese Pallacanestro, Lucio Del Paggio.
The appointment is at PalaBorgognoni di Campli for Friday 1 and Saturday 2 October with the participation of Farnese Pallacanestro Campli, Vasto basket, Teate basket Chieti, Pescara basket and with two matches for each evening starting at 18.30 and 20.45.
