This time,SDGs project “& ONE”We are pleased to inform you that we have decided to start a scholarship system for basketball schools for elementary school students as part of these measures.

This is a system in which elementary school students who cannot play basketball or attend school due to financial reasons are accepted free of charge at the club-run basketball school “THUNDERS KIDS” and are provided with equipment such as balls, shoes, and wear. .. The program is scheduled to be implemented for about 50 people by the end of March 2022, and from today, September 16th (Thursday), Kawasaki City has started to provide information on applications to eligible people. For details on how to apply, please see the overview at the bottom of the page.

In addition, we are planning to open a new “basketball station (tentative name)” that can be used free of charge in Kawasaki City for the purpose of creating a place for children including elementary school students. Details will be announced as soon as they are decided.

Regarding these efforts, the Japan Network for Public Interest Activities (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Masaya Ninomiya, hereinafter referred to as JANPIA) serves as a designated utilization organization, and more than 10 years after the transaction after January 1, 2009. We are utilizing the subsidy from the “Dormant Account Utilization Project”, which utilizes deposits without transactions (dormant deposits, etc.) to solve social issues and promote private public interest activities.
