The New Orleans Saints could already be in danger from COVID-19.

According to what Adam Schefter revealed of ESPNon Tuesday, eight members of the organization are said to have been diagnosed positive for COVID-19. The meeting scheduled for next Sunday in front of the Carolina Panthers could already be compromised.

In total, six coaches from the offensive unit, a player and a nutritionist have reportedly tested positive.

The Saints barely won the campaign opener convincingly ahead of the Green Bay Packers by a score of 38-3. They are due to appear at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Sunday.

The Saints do not evolve in New Orleans following the passage of Hurricane Ida. They occupy the TCU training center in Texas.

Head coach Sean Payton said this summer that all coaches and staff received their two doses of the vaccine.
