Never late in scoring, the Dallas Cowboys won 41-21 over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night at AT&T Stadium.

The ball carrier Ezekiel Elliott took advantage of this duel against rivals from the East section of the National to silence his detractors. Disappointing in the first two games of the season, the 26-year-old has amassed 95 winning yards and two touchdowns in 17 carries.

Cowboys quarterback (2-1) Dak Prescott also had a strong game, completing 21 of 26 passes for 238 yards and three majors. His favorite target was Dalton Schultz. The latter caught six throws, including two in the pay zone, for 80 yards.

The Texan club’s defense took young Jalen Hurts to pay the price. The Eagles quarterback (1-2) suffered two interceptions and as many quarterback sacks. One of his thefts was also brought behind the goal line by Trevon Diggs. Hurts concluded their duel with 25 successful passes on 39 attempts, gains of 326 yards and two touchdowns.

Next Sunday, the Cowboys will look to continue their success against the Carolina Panthers, while the Philadelphia team meet with the Kansas City Chiefs.
