Neli Valor creates school

Next October the new Neli VaLor School will be launched. Commanded by the Spanish boxing champion and her partner, Eduardo Molina, it will be based in Mocejón and will be aimed at children and adults, with an offer that ranges from boxing to judo. It was her dream for more than ten years and now she has decided to leave everything to fulfill it, and because, as she says, she wants to “change lives.”

Neli Valcárcel has transferred her business in the Toledo neighborhood of Azucaica, and has even sold the car to embark on this project that so seduced her. “The bakery slowed us down a bit when making the decision, but this summer we made up our minds,” he explains.

And the thing is, he was no longer “comfortable” with work, because it did not allow him to train with all the facilities. Now he will be able to dedicate himself to boxing “in body and soul”. The school’s dream is taking shape in a 204-square-meter warehouse at the entrance to the municipality. At the moment, the work is continuing and the idea is to inaugurate it in a month, around October 16.

The space will have a weight training room, although, in addition, boxing and judo training will be given, along with fitness classes and ‘fitNeli power’, a routine ‘invented’ by the boxer who, as she recognizes in tone jokingly, “prepares you to go to war.” However, both are also offered as personal trainers for those who wish, in addition to giving nutritional advice tailored to each person.

Neli already has a group that will allow her to start a new business. In fact, for example, the national welterweight champion is leading some students who are going to participate on September 25 in an evening at the Villaseca de la Sagra pavilion.

And the thing is, Neli wants to convey the message that “everyone can train”, with the aim of using training as an inclusive method.

trajectory. Neli Valcárcel has spent fifteen years professionally dedicating herself to teaching physical and sports activity as a fitness room instructor, spinning instructor, cardio box-bodycombat monitor, and judo and boxing coach for children and adults. In addition, he studied Physical Education Teaching and the Higher Degree in Animation and Physical-sports Activities.

For the rest, the Toledo fighter has no fights in sight, but she does intend to go to training with the Spanish team, thinking about future competitions.
