NBA, Jamal Crawford reveals his best memory related to Kobe Bryant

Recently pressed during a Q&A on Twitter, Jamal Crawford he confided his most precious memory linked to the figure of Kobe Bryant. The two have shared several years on the courts throughout the NBA, boasting an important mutual respect. This is the anecdote told by Crawford:

“My favorite memory of Kobe was during the summer of 2014 where we were both playing softball with some celebrities in Seattle. We started talking. Obviously Kobe had that aura, enough to make the other superstars in the league nervous. He always stood out from the crowd. He was different. I mean, we were at that softball game and after that I had my Pro-Am game scheduled. So, at one point I found the courage to ask him, “Kobe, are you coming to see me play tonight? Everyone believes you will come. Will you be able to be there? ” He replied: “Will you play?” I answer him: “Yes.” So he said to me: “Ok, I’m coming.” Next to him was someone from Nike who was saying, “Nah, we have to go back to Los Angeles, we can’t.” and he simply replied with a: “No, I’m going to see Jamal play.” He, his wife, his daughters and all his family came to see me play and on that occasion I scored 63 points. And it wasn’t because of me, but because he was there. I remember going to the camp, telling everyone: “Come to the Pro-Am, Kobe is coming!”. He had that aura of the greatest… and it was a beautiful moment for me because he had every reason in the world to tell me, “No, I can’t. I will not come, it will be for another time, I cannot at the last minute ”. I would have understood it perfectly, but the fact that he turned everything upside down to come and see me was amazing. Personally surprising. “

Here are the images of that apparition.
