Jose Mourinho marked his 1000th game as a coach with a win with AS Roma. The man from Portugal immediately made a crazy celebration.
Mourinho played his 1000th match as his coach, when Roma faced Sassuolo at the Stadio Olimpico, Monday (13/9/2021) early morning WIB, in the third week of the Italian League. The 58-year-old coach passed it successfully.
Roma performed well in that match. Bryan Cristante gave the hosts a 1-0 lead in the 37th minute. Sassuolo had time to reply in the second half. Filip Djuricic’s goal in the 57th minute made the score 1-1.
But, Rome can ensure victory in injury time. Stephen El Shaarawy’s goal in the 90th minute + 1 made the Capital Wolves win three points.
When Shaarawy’s goal was created, Jose Mourinho was happy not to play. The former coach of Benfica, Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur was running on the touchline.
Mourinho galloped off the AS Roma bench towards Shaarawy who was celebrating his goal in front of the fans. The Special One hugged his players, dissolved in the euphoria of victory.
