Monfils and Paire perform at Roland-Garros

Gaël Monfils and Benoît Paire put on the show this weekend at Roland-Garros, during an exhibition with streamers.

They were nearly 2,000 spectators who flocked to Roland-Garros on Saturday, to attend an unusual exhibition match, with Gaël Monfils and the streamer “ZeratoR” (Adrien Nougaret), who were opposed to Benoît Paire and a another streamer, “Domingo”, alias Pierre-Alexis Bizot. A meeting which brought together more than 85,000 people on the Twitch platform, and which saw Monfils, 16th finalist at the US Open, and his partner won in three sets against the pair Paire-Domingo (4-6, 6-4, 10-8). An idea born during Z Event, this charitable video game marathon that brings together French-speaking streamers to collect donations for an association, in this case Amnesty International during the 2020 edition, which was held in Montpellier in October latest.
