The Mochitense Octavio Moya lived a very special chapter in his life as he was an integral part of the Mexico team that won the title in the discipline of youth basketball in the World School Sport Game U15 World Championship, beating the powerful Serbian team.
The triumph of the championship was with a final score of 69-52 where Octavio Moya shone with his offensive and defensive skills being an important part in the great achievement of the Mexican representative.
The Mexican team confirmed its power by adding triumph after triumph in the high-level tournament where teams from various parts of the world took part.
14 sports were competed and there was a solid participation of 2,500 athletes from 42 countries.

The Mexican representative had a brilliant participation in this competition of the Wold School Sport Game U 15, where there is activity in addition to basketball, in other disciplines such as athletics, badminton, chess, American football, judo, karate, swimming, table tennis, tae kwon do, volleyball and wrestling.
The Mexican selective started the tournament beating the North Macedonia team with a final score of 7-2-47, and later came 72-57 triumphs over France, and the 69-52 final over Ukraine to lift the championship trophy.
