Mikaela Rojas will represent the country in the Junior Judo World Cup

The young Catalan judoka Mikaela Rojas will be in the next Junior Judo World Cup 2021 that will be held in Olbia, Italy, between October 6 and 10. It will do so in the category up to 48 kg.

This is not the first time that Mika will represent the country worldwide, since, among other competitions, in 2018 he participated in the Youth Olympic Games that were held in Buenos Aires. There she achieved a fifth place and took an Olympic diploma, in addition to being the only judoka who participated in the country. In May of this year, she was also fifth at the Pan American Open that was held in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Rojas had been fifth in the Junior Pan American Super Cup, also held in Guayaquil (Ecuador), where he officially debuted in the Junior category.

The bronze medal in the Pan American and South American Judo Championships in the Cadets, Sub 18 and Junior Sub 21 categories, which took place in the city of Santiago de Cali, in Colombia.

In addition, in 2018, when she was only 15 years old, she was elected the athlete of the year by the Círculo de Periodistas de Catamarca.
