The bad boy gets on the twelve!
After two years in China, Marko Arnautovic (32) has been back in Europe since the summer. The Austrian signed on to FC Bologna.
At the weekend, however, his team went down 6-1 at his ex-club Inter Milan (2009 to 2010).
Reason enough for the Italian press to settle accounts with Arnautovic!
The “Gazzetta dello Sport” judged: “Many words for nothing. Arnautovic seems to be a foreign body in his team. With 32 years in the stadium, where he had experienced a short season as a bad boy, Arnautovic was unable to achieve anything. A bad match, that can happen. “
“Tuttosport” became even cynical: “Arnautovic plays more minutes than with Inter in the triple year 2010, but the results are the same.”
“Corriere della Sera” commented: “His ex-Tifosi appreciate him, but Arnautovic does not try to take part in the match.”
Arnautovic had only played three competitive games (55 minutes) for Inter. For Bologna he scored twice in the first five games.
