Premier League clubs have barred players from South America from serving with their national teams because they have to fly to England’s ‘red list’ countries.

The South American nations are now retaliating by banning their players from playing in the Premier League.

There are 11 Premier League players who cannot play in this weekend’s League match.

Richard Masters is in talks with FIFA over permission for those affected by FIFA’s rules to play in the Premier League.

The Premier League hopes that the 11 players banned from playing this weekend will be allowed to take to the pitch.

And if that does not materialize, they are prepared to take the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
