Ligue 1: the derby between Lens and Lille interrupted after overflows at half-time

The Lensois public had not known a derby at home for more than 10 years. And the supporters’ match, in a match logically sold out, degenerated at half-time, while the two teams had returned to the locker room without being able to decide after the first 45 minutes (0-0) .

According to information from RMC Sport, the tone would have increased at the break between LOSC fans and Lensois fans, seats would have started to fly near the northern parking lot. Several dozen members of the Marek stand, a stand for Lensois supporters, then descended on the lawn and headed for the Lille parking lot. The tone rose between the two camps of supporters, stewards and CRS then had to intervene. Also according to information from RMC Sport, a supporter and a CRS were injured.

Calm returned after about ten minutes. But according to information from Amazon Prime Video, a crisis cell has been triggered. Referees and match delegates must meet to decide what to do next. Contact with the local authorities must be established to decide whether or not to resume the match.
