The manager of the Latvian national team in the Nations Cup was Valdis Seratinskis.

Last year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Motocross Cup of Nations was not held.

In 2019, the Latvian team with Paul Jonas, Macuk and Dāvis Ivanovs won the eighth place in the Nations Cup, which is the best result of all time for Latvian motorcyclists.

The representative of Latvia became the champion of the Nations Cup only in 1968, when Arnis Angers was able to do it as a member of the USSR national team. In the years of independence, Latvia previously achieved the best result in 1992, when it won the 11th place in a relatively small competition, but then the most successful year was 2014, when it won the 12th place on its “Golden Horse” track in Ķegums.

Since 1990, the Latvian national team has competed in the motocross for the Nations Cup 27 times.
