Kristoffer Broberg wins the Dutch Open

With a comfortable mattress eight strokes ahead of the last lap thanks to a record card of 61, Kristoffer Broberg had done the hardest the day before. The Swede played in the par this Sunday (3 birdies, 3 bogeys) to logically win on the Bernardus Golf course and win the Dutch Open. The German Matthias Schmid did everything to come back to score with a card of 66 but ended up in second place at -20. Kristoffer Broberg had more difficulties on this day but his birdie at 17 came at the right time to allow him to breathe and finish easily.

After five years of hardship marked by injuries, Kristoffer Broberg won his second title on the European Tour at 35, six years after his victory at the BMW Masters. Very moved after his last putt, Kristoffer Broberg spoke briefly before ending in tears: ” I am very happy ! The game didn’t quite measure up today but I’m so glad I got the win. “ This is the first victory for a Swede at the Dutch Open since Peter Hanson in 2012.

Adrien Saddier finished 15th

At -11 total, Adrien Saddier is the best French this week. With a new card under par (71), the Frenchman finished in 15th place. Romain Langasque is 22nd at -9, Robin Roussel 27th at -8, Clément Sordet 32nd at -7. Robin Sciot-Siegrist and Julien Guerrier finished 38th at -6. Jean Baptiste Gonnet brings up the rear, 58th at -3.
