Jürgen Klopp becomes the new brand ambassador for Nivea

Jürgen Klopp will succeed Jogi Löw – but off the pitch. He follows the former national coach as an advertising ambassador for Nivea Men.

Jogi Löw is no longer national coach – and therefore no longer a brand ambassador for the cosmetics brand Nivea Men. But his successor is also a familiar face from the world of football: Jürgen Klopp is following in his footsteps, the Beiersdorf Group announced on Tuesday. The German is currently the trainer of the FC Liverpool in Great Britain and had previously been successful for many years with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

“Perfect Match”

The aim is to present the brand “in a modern, approachable way” and to reach many soccer fans, said Beiersdorf manager Christian Haensch. But the Liverpool coach is a “perfect match”. Klopp has therefore been committed for two years.

In addition to advertising, according to the group, social projects in football are also to become part of the cooperation.

But also Jogi Löw shouldn’t leave Nivea entirely, you stay “in a spirit of partnership”. However, further details are not yet available.
