Judo receives three quotas and Cuba rises to 163 classified to Cali 2021

Havana, Sep 17 (Prensa Latina) .- Judo received three quotas in the men’s sector and Cuba amounted to 163 athletes classified towards the First Youth Pan American Games in Cali-Valle 2021.

In the absence of confirmations in athletics, tennis and other places in judo, the largest of the Antilles already has a secure participation in 25 sports, of the 28 summoned for the continental fair.

Seven young people with experience in the great Tokyo 2020 Olympic event lead the national delegation, among which stand out the promises of canoeing, Yarisleidis Cirilo and Katherin Bueno, finalists under the five rings in the C 2 at 500 meters and José Ramón Pelier, ninth place in C 1 a thousand meters.
