It’s back to school for Badminton Aiglon who hopes to have a “normal” season

The badists of The Eagle (Orne) will be able to bring out their racket and their outfit for a season that the badminton hopes “roughly normal” despite persistent health constraints. In truth, a few have already knocked in the steering wheel. It was on the occasion of the usual start of the school year which took place the weekend of August 28 and 29, 2021, at the Pôle.

Stop the flight of licensees

After the very sharp drop in the number of licensees (59 instead of 136), the club’s objective will be to find the greatest number of practitioners for the 2019-2020 season, knowing that this will probably not happen in time. of a single season.

Regarding the management team, Badminton Aiglon is aligning for the first time in its history an entirely female board in the person of Nathalie Nambot, new president, Nathalie Pajot and Martine Pingault retaining respectively the treasury and the secretariat.

It is from Friday September 11 that parents will be able to register or re-register their children in badminton school. While knowing that the new practitioners will also be able to do it during the forum of associations which will take place at Grû on Saturday September 4th. On the other hand, the youngest, those of the mini-bad, will be able to resume from Tuesday, September 7.

Licenses from 60 to 85 €

Regarding licenses, the new prices decided at the general meeting in June will be € 60 for young people, € 70 for leisure adults and € 85 for adult competitors. Due to the shortness of the past season, discounts will be offered to former practitioners taking back a license.

On the sporting level, it is to be hoped that after two white seasons, the interclub championships can finally take place normally. In Regional 2, the Aiglonne team leaves with a substantially identical workforce, Guillaume Castel joining the first team. In departmental, Badminton aiglon aligns one or even two teams, a membership review taking place as every year in mid-September.

This season 21-22, Badminton Aiglon has positioned itself to host at least two ornate competitions. Regarding the National Eagles Tournament, the date chosen is the weekend of October 30 and 31.

Finally, to conclude this back-to-school newsletter, some news from Anouk Nambot, the former resident of the club. After a resumption of competition in Lithuania and Denmark (failure in the double queen quarter against the future winners), while remaining a member of the Dives sur Mer club, she joined the Strasbourg university pole, a structure parallel to the France pole, which is also located in the Alsatian capital. She benefits from numerous weekly training sessions. Frustrated with young France in 2020, she is in Voiron in three weeks for the 2021 edition.
