Eric Mobley (born February 1, 1970) played for the National Basketball Association (NBA). During his three-year career, he played for the Milwaukee Bucks and the Vancouver Grizzlies.

In fact, he started in the professional arena after the Bucks picked him as their 18th overall pick in the first round.

Overall, he averaged 3.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.2 steals and 0.5 blocks per game.

Growing up, their parents introduced them to basketball at an early age. As Eric himself explained, they often taught them their alphabets along with the technique of dribbling the ball.

However, with both parents having their own basketball-centered lives, not only did they typically have the ball as their only option in life. In fact, they bought a piano and many others to indulge according to their interest.

Either way, they chose basketball, and Isaiah has always been the biggest, strongest, and most outgoing one. Looking back, most of Isaiah’s childhood was spent playing the competitive game with his brother in the courtyard.

According to sources, as their match became more exciting and fun, they sometimes became too physical. In fact, their father was there to stop their game after it.

Eric and I both love the game, and since we both played it, we hoped they would grow up loving it too. We were open as parents to allow them to pursue what they wanted to do. And we hoped they enjoyed basketball as much as we do.

High school

Isaiah Mobley enrolled at Rancho Christian School in Temecula, California, and then graduated in 2019. He averaged 22 points during his high school tenure, 13 rebounds, four assists and three blocks per game.

As a freshman, he leads his high school team to the CIF State Open Division Championships. Well, it won the 5A CIF Southern Section (CIF-SS) division title, which became the school’s first title in any sport.

He then led his team to the CIF Division V Southern California Regional final. At the time, he was the only Californian to play the 42nd annual McDonald’s All-American Game.

Overall, he advanced to the second year, where he averaged 16.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. That same year, his younger brother, Evan, also joined the team to play alongside.

Moving on to his junior years, he had already won many MVP titles through tournaments. Thereafter, he averaged 19.9 points, 11.3 rebounds and four assists per game.

Additionally, he led the team to a CIF-Southern Section Open Division playoff appearance while he was seventh in the exact match. At the end of his high school days, he averaged 19.4 points, 13.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
