American golfer Patrick Cantlay rose from tenth to fourth place in the world rankings after being crowned champion of the BMW Championship of the PGA Tour this Sunday, while the Spanish Jon Rahm who was ninth in this tournament alongside the Mexican Abraham Ancer retains the first place of this classification.

With this victory Cantlay reached an average of 7.3341 points that allowed him to reach fourth place on this list in week 35 by displacing the American Xander Schauffele (7.1787) to box number five and approaching the podium that is still made up of Rahm ( 9.9649), Dustin Johnson (8.8790) and Collin Morikawa (8.4235).

Both the North Americans Justin Thomas and Bryson DeChambeau – runner-up in the tournament – and the South African Louis Oosthuizen dropped one place and are now sixth, seventh and eighth respectively, while Tony Finau remains ninth and Brooks Koepka closes the group of the top ten.
