Hamburg Towers are defeated in the test match against Göttingen

The Hamburg Towers lost their first public test match before the start of the basketball Bundesliga. One week before the start, coach Pedro Calles’ team lost 78:88 (40:48) in front of 752 spectators in the Inselparkhalle of the BG Göttingen on Friday evening. The best Towers professional was Zachary Brown with twelve points.

In the first round, the Towers made a number of missed throws and were at times behind with twelve points. In the final quarter, the hosts managed to fight their way to a point twice. In the last few minutes, the Calles team missed a few chances to turn the game around.

Before the Hanseatic League fight for the first points at the MHP Giants Ludwigsburg on September 25, the team will play a final test match against Monaco on Monday in camera.
