Liverpool

News of Mohamed Salah got out. The Liverpool bomber asked the club to increase his salary so he would last longer.

Reported from Mirror, Mohamed Salah’s contract at Liverpool is only two years away, aka in 2023. Salah has not given a contract extension, with the option of adding another year.

Real Madrid and PSG are reportedly still interested in Salah. The 29-year-old player himself once stole the attention when he said he wanted to go on an adventure in another league in 2020.

Liverpool are still holding Mohamed Salah to add to his contract. It is believed, Salah is willing to add to the contract as long as his salary is increased!

So far, Salah is paid 200 thousand Pounds per week or equivalent to Rp. 3.9 billion. It is alleged that Salah asked for a salary increase, so it was 500 thousand Pounds or the equivalent of Rp. 9.8 billion!

If this is realized by Liverpool, then Mohamed Salah will become the highest-paid player at the club. So far, the highest salary is held by Virgil van Dijk at 220 thousand pounds or equivalent to Rp. 4.3 billion.

However, Salah’s salary increase is said to be so large that it will not be in line with the club’s principles. Yes, Liverpool are reluctant to give their players an exorbitant salary!

Liverpool are indeed increasing the contracts of their players in the transfer market this summer. They are Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, and Virgil van Dijk.

Mohamed Salah has continued to be the Reds’ goal machine since his arrival in 2017. He has scored 127 goals in 206 appearances in all competitions and twice won the Premier League’s top scorer title.
