Football Ligue 1 – TV: Canal + is swimming in happiness, long live Ligue 1

The week preceding the resumption of the championship, Canal + was fighting in court so as not to have to broadcast Ligue 1 and thus pay the LFP.

The encrypted channel is still scandalized to pay 330 million euros for two games per day when Amazon won the bet of the eight games left vacant by Mediapro for only 250 million euros. Justice nevertheless ordered Canal + to respect its sub-license agreement with BeInSports and therefore to broadcast Ligue 1 and pay the LFP. Present this Tuesday at a press conference as part of the big comeback of Canal +, Maxime Saada briefly mentioned the situation. The opportunity for the president of the management board of the Canal + group to confirm that the Vivendi group channel maintained its actions against the LFP … but was done in the meantime a real pleasure to broadcast Ligue 1.

Maxime Send « ravi » to broadcast Ligue 1

“We will go to the end of the dispute. In the meantime, we are delighted to broadcast and promote Ligue 1 “ said Maxime Saada, although Canal + has switched Ligue 1 to Canal + Sport since the resumption of the championship, unlike Formula 1, Moto GP or the bigger Premier League posters, much more highlighted by the group. Canal + also took advantage of this press conference to unveil its current offers including the possibility of paying 20.99 euros per month (for twelve months) for the best Ligue 1 match, the best Champions League match and the best Premier League game every week. The 100% Sport offer is valued at 34.99 euros per month for the first 12 months before increasing to 45.99 euros per month.
