Five talents for you to follow in week 3 of College Football

You already know: Saturday is College Football day. As it has become a tradition here at Lance!, let’s list some interesting prospects that will showcase your talents on this September 18th filled with American football. Disney’s Star+ streaming service will stream 16 games throughout the day, starting at 1pm. We’ve selected some of the best matches of the day and highlighted five names you can hear called up in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Pay attention to them!

Cincinnati x Indiana – 13h

Growing in recent years, the Cincinnati team is packed with high-level talent like Myjai Sanders or Desmond Ridder. But none of them are as talented as cornerback Ahmad Gardner, with the potential to go out in the first round and even fight for cornerback 2 in the next NFL Draft. Gardner is very physical following the receivers, making them feel his presence every step of the way. You have excellent control over every movement of your body, lowering your hips and changing direction without major jolts.

Georgia Tech x Clemson – 16h30
Wide receiver Justyn Ross has been out of action for the past year after spinal surgery that threatened his football career. The comeback in 2020 is still modest, just 7 catches for 78 yards and a touchdown. But Ross has the talent and the perfect physical profile for the wide receiver position, with 1.93m and 92kg. Ross has speed, wingspan and a gigantic receiving radius, which allows him to do some stunts when getting the ball.

South Carolina x Georgia – 20h
Turn on the television and don’t take your eyes off all of Georgia’s defense, but pay special attention to the gigantic 99 jersey – defensive tackle Jordan Davis. Impossible to move due to its physical strength from the height of 1.98m and 150 kilos. Davis is a weapon in the running game, as he simply occupies two gaps in the offensive line, as well as having heavy hands that help him in the battle in the trenches. In 2021, he has also shown talent as a pass rush, with some good pressures already conquered and a sack, against Clemson. If you manage to torment the quarterbacks, your Draft quote will skyrocket.

Auburn x Penn State – 20h37
Best game of the day broadcast to Brazil, Auburn and Penn State also have a good number of prospects with huge chances to shine on the field on Sundays. Starting with Auburn, the Tigers have cornerback Roger McCreary, who attracts him with his long arms and good height. McCreary is fluid in his movements and very agile, which allows him to challenge receivers throughout his route.

By Penn State, homeowners, eye on Rasheed Walker, the team’s offensive tackle, responsible for protecting the left side of the offensive line. Walker is ideal height and weight (1.98m and 145kg) for the NFL position, has excellent agility and explosiveness for someone his size, is extremely strong and has good flexibility, allowing him to challenge the range of movement of pass rushers who they try to hit you at the end of the offensive line. He will have against Auburn his biggest challenge in the 2021 season so far.
