Festa dello Sport and Bellavista Playground, a weekend in motion in Malnate

After the great success of the Malnate Run organized by Atletica Malnate, with 280 members, two other sporting events arrive in the city for next weekend.

Saturday 18 September from 12:00 at the sports area in via Gasparotto, the “Sports Festival”, organized by the sports consultancy. It will be possible to have lunch at the stands on site: in front of the building with the Malnate Bugs, at the bar of the Malnatese Football and finally to the bar of Vikings Baseball.

Each sports club will be present with organized exhibitions of the same, directly involving the children and young people who will participate in the event to test yourself with all sports.
Special guest of the day will be Vincenzo Menafro, 86-year-old Italian walking champion.

«This demonstration – he affirms the sports councilor Carola Botta – it is important to relaunch Malnatese sport which can count on an important range of sports clubs. Sport is essential for the growth of children and young people, on a physical but above all moral level “.

Another appointment to mark on the agenda is for Sunday 19 September, from 9:30 at the Bellavista park the 3vs3 basketball tournament is organized, with the collaboration of Malnate Bugs and the Proloco. It will be possible to have lunch in the company of excellent music with DJ Hermann and beer from the Social Brewery of Malnate.

“I thank all the sports clubs – concludes the commissioner Carola Botta – because they have never stopped believing in their activities and despite the adversities of this last year and a half, they gritted their teeth to move forward, also with the achievement of important goals ».
