FC Bayern Munich: board tremor! Oliver Kahn wants to take action – Bundesliga

Oliver Kahn (52) wants to lead FC Bayern into the future as the new CEO – the former Titan has now started his redesign of the club! And he seems willing to take tough action.

According to BILD information, Kahn wants to rebalance the resorts in the club. In the “Bayern Insider” program on BILD Live, the BILD television broadcaster, we revealed that the CEO has made the “Internationalization” department a top priority.

This puts the future of board member Jörg Wacker (contract until 2023) in question, who heads this department in addition to the “Strategy” resort.

The restructuring is to be carried out as part of the “FC Bayern AHEAD” project that Kahn is promoting alongside President Herbert Hainer. The plans for this were already presented by Kahn at the last Supervisory Board meeting on August 30th.

Kahn is becoming more and more powerful at Bavaria. It is already official that Kahn will be part of the Executive Board of the ECA (European Club Association) from November. He is taking over the position that was previously club legal advisor Dr. Michael Gerlinger (Director Legal of FC Bayern AG) held the position.
