Ecuador jumped onto the field with a line of three in defense to face Paraguay on the afternoon of this Thursday, September 2, 2021, in the first game that has been played with the public since the beginning of the pandemic.

Gustavo Alfaro opted for a different line-up to try to overcome the bad streak of the last two dates and the Copa América, in which the results were not encouraging.

For now, Ecuador is third in the standings with nine points. For this reason, beating Paraguay and Chile at home and reaching some point in Uruguay will be key in these three qualifying dates.

In the first half, the Tricolor did not stop looking for the rival goal, the last 10 minutes were intense and with goal possibilities that put the Paraguayan defense to work.
