Cristiano Ronaldo refuses Antonio Conte to Manchester United

Ronaldo is said to have blocked Conte when he wanted to be reappointed as Juventus coach, two years ago.

Antonio Conte has reportedly entered the market for a new Manchester United manager amid pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Solskjaer was again in the spotlight after Man United’s defeat to Swiss representatives, Young Boys, with a score of 2-1 in this midweek Champions League match.

Apart from the red card that Aaron Wan-Bissaka received since the 35th minute, United appeared annoyed and the coach’s substitution decision became the target of criticism.

Ole’s call for resignation was heard again amid the Red Devils’ poor record in the UCL with seven defeats from 11 matches.

The famous Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, also indicated that Conte would be happy to take Man United’s offer.

“I don’t think he [Conte] will accept Arsenal’s offer and that’s why he said no to Tottenham Hotspur,” said Di Marzio, recently.

“I think he will only accept if Manchester United call,” he added.

Even so, Man United is not in a position to sack Ole. The 48-year-old coach has just signed a contract until June 2024.

But with Conte still unemployed, the former Chelsea boss will surely be linked with United whenever the team fails to win.

As reported by ExpressOne player who may object to Conte’s potential appointment as Ole’s replacement is Ronaldo.
