Céline Boutier straight to the point!

One of the favorites before the start of the tournament Céline Boutier is indeed there. Friday at the end of the second round she took sole control of the Lacoste Ladies Open de France while Anais Meyssonnier remains in the race with a second card under par.

After his -3 the day before, Celine Boutier moved up a gear during this second lap. The Solheim Cup player recorded a solid 66 (-5) this Friday despite two bogeys on the 6 and the 18 (like the day before). But the Habs also made some very nice putts like their three birdies on the first four holes.

The one who hopes to end this beautiful summer in style is one point ahead of Argentina Magdalena Simmermacher, the Scottish Kylie Henry and the Italian Virginia Elena Letter.

Meyssonnier keeps the course, Roussin-Bouchard in contact

Co-leader after the first round, Anais Meyssonnier again recorded a card under par with a 70 (-1). After a superb start in 32 (-4), the regular LETAS player had a slightly more complicated start to her return with two bogeys and a double. She still remains in the race with two points from the lead in fifth position.

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard can also believe in another very good performance this season. The young pro signed a good 68 (-3) despite a double in 4. Here she is eleventh five strokes behind her compatriot.

Laisne more in trouble

In the lead with Anais Meyssonnier after the first round, Agathe Laisne had a more difficult second lap with a 75 (+4), she fell back to 21st position in the company ofEmma Grechi and of Manon Gidali.

At +1 total and at 9 boutier shots, Celine Herbin sees his chances of winning a second time in this event (after his victory at Chantaco in 2015) reduced to almost nil. It will still be there this Saturday like 10 of the 22 French tricolors entered.
