CB Soria participates in the Iberdrola Cup

The celebration of the Iberdrola Cup overshadows the rest of the badminton competitions for this weekend with the presence at that appointment of the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club. A competition, which reaches its fourth edition, in which the best clubs in the country compete and is played by teams and exclusively for the female category.

In each confrontation, both rivals will play three singles matches and two doubles matches.

The club from Soria has been classified in group A so that the Sorianas will face the current champion, CB Oviedo and CB Athlos de Orense.

The expedition that will travel to Toledo will be composed of the absolute Beatriz Hernández, Nora Martinez and Ana Sanz along with the sub17s: Daniela Corchón and Ana Peñaranda.

Meanwhile, the quarry of the Soria club will travel to Palencia where the Federation of Castilla y León retakes its competitions with a test that summons the sub19, sub13 and sub11 categories.

The large presence of Soria is made up of, in the sub19 category: Javier Barrios, Héctor de las Heras, José Santos López and Clara Tomsa, in the sub13: Naroa Alvaro, Isabel Corchón and Carmen Gomez, while in the sub11 there will be: Jimena Ayllón, Aarón Barrera, Alvaro Gómez, Iker González and Daniel Marín.

Finally, the seniors of both the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club and the AD89 refine their preparation for the imminent celebration of the Spanish championship by participating in two tournaments. On the one hand, David Hernansanz from Soria along with Sergio Latorre, Cristina Puebla and José Romero from Burgos will compete in San Lorenzo del Escorial while Santiago Martínez, from the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club, will do so in the Valencian town of Enguera.
