“Make associations!” the celebration of “doing together”. Canohes, had decided to innovate in the most beautiful way, thus also honoring the 120 years of the 1901 law on the freedom of association.
Indeed, this year the codes have been shaken up in order to give a more festive tone to this meeting and to approach in the best possible way this reunion between the public and the associations after a particularly difficult year.
No less than 50 associations were able to offer some 1,500 visitors, in a festive atmosphere, a panorama of all beauty of their activities, while celebrating good living together.
Demonstrations, activities, judo competitions, circuses, taekwondo, country, fitness… followed one another at a frantic pace within the 3 dedicated spaces to the applause of many spectators.
While the children fully and safely took advantage of this intergenerational leisure area with inflatable games and wooden games, parents and grandparents were able to take time to enjoy this last summer weekend.
They were thus able to find a sport, leisure or cultural activity or quite simply enjoy a drink at the excellent penya of the association Els amics de Canoès amb els Dragons Catalans.
The latter offered their guests a live broadcast of the matches, while tasting the cargolade and other Catalan grills.
Dynamism in the spotlight
The party thus kept all its promises with a great deal of interactivity and the assistance of an outstanding host until 11 p.m.
On this occasion the enthusiasm of the Passe-murailles, Chris Rythmique and Judo Club Canohès JECT associations was greeted by the public and rewarded by Jean-Louis Chambon, the mayor. Each will be able to make a free promotional film on their activities by the communication service of the town hall.
