Burn. Judo: membership offered to all

Mr. Lelong has chaired the “Brûlon Loisirs Club Judo” for 20 years. The association based in the “Vègre et Champagne” room offers courses for competitors or simply for leisure. The club had an average of 50 to 80 members, but this number continues to decrease. Today they are only about thirty and the Covid has not helped.

Annual membership costs around € 125 and lessons are provided by a state-certified trainer. For 6-8 year-olds from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., for 9-14 year-olds from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and for 15 years and over, from 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

Since September 2020, the club has only been able to open four times (in June) and only for minors.

It wants to continue at all costs, which is why it will exceptionally offer a free membership for all.

The resumption is scheduled for Thursday, September 9. And on September 16 a welcome is planned for this new school year.
