At the Tokyo Paralympic Games, the Boccia national team made history once again.

Korea, who tied the score 4-4 until the 4th end, scored a dramatic goal in overtime, beating Japan and winning the gold medal.

Starting with the 1988 Seoul Paralympic Games, this is the ninth consecutive gold medal.

It has once again secured its position as the best in the world.

Boccia forms a team and wins or loses depending on how many balls are close to the white target ball.

A unique Paralympic sport, pitching is made using a gutter.

It is similar to curling among winter sports.

President Moon Jae-in also expressed his congratulations.

In a congratulatory message to the national team today (5th), President Moon said, “I have announced to the world the status of the Boccia powerhouse.”

Our team, who also added two silver medals in badminton, concludes a 13-day battle with the closing ceremony today (the 5th).
