Taking action for the revival of basketball excitement in Giresun Giresun Municipality Youth Sports Clubwill compete in the Women’s Regional Basketball League in the new season. Giresun Municipality Youth Sports Club, which entered into a structure in a short time upon the instruction of Giresun Mayor Aytekin Şenlikoğlu and applied to the Turkish Basketball Federation for participation in the Women’s Regional Basketball League, did its first training at the Giresun University Sports Hall under the management of trainer Salim Taslı. Giresun Municipality Youth Sports Club President Alaattin Hafızoğlu, board members and former Board Member of Turkish Basketball Federation Heves Bozbağ attended the first session of the season.

Wishing success to the technical staff and female basketball players before the new season, Giresun Municipality Youth Sports Club President Hafızoğlu said, “Giresun loves basketball. We took action immediately with the support of our Mayor Aytekin Şenlikoğlu. Together with our teacher Salim Taslı, we have included basketball players who can benefit us both from our infrastructure and from our team. A good creation took place.
