Parallel to the formation of a very promising team for the serie C Gold – which will soon be officially presented – and equally motivated and dynamic teams for the youth sector, in fact, the executives have outlined the strategy to be put in place in the coming months.

The activity of Bcl
After the last year spent with the difficulties related to Covid, this emerged in the presentation of the Agora, the Basketball Club Lucca has even more desire to restart with enthusiasm, cohesion and commitment, also thanks to a company made up of managers, coaches and instructors, compact and ambitious, and by players who, with head, heart, technique and determination, intend to go far. All those “old” and “new” sponsors who have believed and continue to believe in this reality also allow us to aim high.
The Lucca context
Rebuilding a solid network of participation and trust “in the city and for the city” is one of the primary objectives of Basketball Club Lucca. The support, attraction and collaboration of the people of Lucca represents, in fact, a fundamental piece of the path that the company will undertake, consolidating the existing supporters and involving those who are not yet passionate, also through an ad hoc season ticket campaign. The link with the territory is an essential element to be cultivated and enhanced through a series of initiatives and projects also to bring the little ones closer to this sport.
The “style” Bcl
If it is true that winning is the ultimate goal of every game, what you prepare for and what you fight for, it is also true that the game of basketball brings with it a long series of formative, educational and inclusive values that Basketball Club Lucca intends never to take it for granted. This is the intent of all the activities it will promote. Starting with the managers, the coaches and the entire staff, among whom synergy, collaboration and sharing must never be lacking; until to youth teams who will have to embrace the important message of respect, perseverance, commitment and aggregation; passing through the players of the C Gold series who will have to lead by example, transmitting responsibility, inclusion, passion and a healthy spirit of competition. The Basketball Club wants to represent a positive model, both for those who play and for watching: what in jargon is called “fair play”, a manifesto of ethics, loyalty and honesty.
The youth sector
Also to spread those values of which, the Basketball Club Lucca, believes that it must be a promoter among the new generations, the company will maintain, with even more conviction, particular attention to the youth sector. On the one hand, because he believes that sports experience plays a decisive role in the growth of children, especially if coordinated and assisted in the correct way by coaches and instructors prepared to fill this role. On the other hand, why, the youth sector remains a potential pool of promising young people to be exploited who, with the right desire to get involved and the right passion, can achieve excellent results in the regional and national championships in the medium term and, who knows, one day mature up to the first team
The first team
A dynamic team, prepared and ready to accept great challenges. Heterogeneous on the one hand, perfectly complementary on the other, thanks to the confirmations of last season and this year’s novelties. These are the ingredients of the new team that will soon face the Serie C Gold championship. To get there in the best physical and mental condition, the workouts proceed at a fast pace, interspersed with frequent friendlies to test patterns and experiment approaches and tactics on the parquet. There is a desire for redemption and a restart – after the difficulties and restrictions encountered last year for Covid, during which, however, the Bcl was confirmed in the C Gold series. Today we want to look far ahead, perhaps more than ever, and the credentials to do well are all there.
Health safety
Beyond the sporting objectives, the safety of the players, their families and the figures that gravitate around the company remains in first place. That’s why, again this year, the Basketball Club Lucca has studied an adequate anticovid protocol in order to protect everyone’s health. But that’s not all because Bcl is also working on a major healthcare project to take even more care of its players. The medical staff, in fact, is organizing to make themselves available, not only as usual with regard to the sporting fitness of athletes and rescue in case of emergency during matches, but also starting a path of knowledge of the their body, proper nutrition, prevention and control of diseases in order to provide them with the tools to lead a healthy and healthy lifestyle.
