Announces Reserve Players for BSN 2021 All-Star Game | Basketball

National Superior Basketball announced the list of 14 reserve players for the 2021 All-Star Game to be held on September 11 at the Manuel Petaca Iguina Coliseum in Arecibo.

The list of the 14 players chosen by fan voting is made up of the “guards” Ángel Rodríguez (Vaqueros de Bayamón), Víctor Líz (Capitanes de Arecibo), David Stockton (Mets de Guaynabo), Terrell “Tu” Holloway (Piratas de Quebradillas), Wil Martínez (Carolina Giants), Mike Rosario (Pirates), “forwards” Jonathan Rodríguez (Captains), Alexander Franklin (Warlocks of Guayama), Gilberto Clavell (Cariduros de Fajardo), Chris Ortiz (Warlocks), Justin Reyes (Mayaguez Indians), Jonathan Ocasio (Humacao Grays), and centers Devon Collier (Captains) and Renaldo Balkman (Mets).

With more than 250 thousand votes cast, Benito Santiago Jr. of the Bayamón Vaqueros and David Huertas of the Arecibo Capitanes topped the list of 24 players elected. Santiago Jr. led the election with 20,080 votes, followed by Huertas, who received 17,513.

Both will be captains of the teams that will bear their name, Team Benito vs Team Huertas, and will select from the rest of the Star players, starting with those who have been chosen to the starting five, and completing the roster with the reserves.

Along with Santiago Jr. and Huertas, the players selected to the starting table are the “guards” Walter Hodge (Capitanes de Arecibo), Javier Mojica (Vaqueros de Bayamón), Jezreel De Jesús (Leones de Ponce), José Juan Barea (Cangrejeros de Santurce), “forwards” Paris Bass (Atléticos de San Germán), Ángel Núñez (Mets de Guaynabo), and the Chinemelu Elonu (Captains) and Ysmael Romero (Cowboys) centers.
