Ten years of suspension from official judo competitions. This is the fate of judoka Fethi Nourine who forfeited during the Olympic Games Tokyo-2020, not to face his Israeli opponent Tohar Butbul.
As a reminder, during the Jo-2020, the judoka Fethi Nourine refused to face his opponent of Israeli nationality, in solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
His trainer, Amar Benikhlef, receives the same sanction.
