Alex Collado was in the interest of Club Brugge this summer. The FC Barcelona midfielder then wanted to stay with the blaugrana instead of embarking on a Belgian adventure, but now comes to the conclusion that the sporting and financial malaise is too great in the Catalan capital.
FC Barcelona cannot register Collado anywhere due to the club’s financial problems. His name cannot be entered in either the A-team or the B-team. Barça would therefore consider canceling Collado’s contract, as they now only have him on the payroll and therefore cannot use him sportingly.
