Al Ahly, Wydad, Mazembe… The 16 posters of the second preliminary round

A l’issue du preliminary round return, played this weekend, we now know the 16 posters of the second preliminary round of the African Champions League. This will be marked by the entry into the running of the 10 best clubs, exempted from the first round, such as the defending champion, Al Ahly, who will start against an affordable opponent, the Nigeriens of the US Gendarmerie Nationale.

To follow also the beautiful posters Stade Malien (Mali) -Horoya AC (Guinea) and ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast) -CR Belouizdad (Algeria). Esperance Tunis will have to be wary of the derby against the Libyans of Al Ittihad, while the TP Mazembe of Franck Dumas, in decline in recent years, will also approach with caution its double confrontation against the South Africans of Amazulu.

The 16 winners will advance to the group stage, while the 16 losers will go to the Confederation Cup play-offs.
