Hachiko is so famous in Japan that many websites specializing in sneakers they already predict a shortage of stocks. That’s why they will be running an online lottery on September 17th for anyone who wants to reserve a pair. Those selected will be able to purchase the Hachiko Adidas Superstar with Atmos starting September 18, at a price of 15,400 yen; that is to say, about $ 140 dollars.
The good news is that the proceeds from this launch will be returned to the city of Tokyo and will support the Shibuya District Official Souvenirs Project.
