The house of sport will also feature new faces: Antonio Conte, special guest in the studios of the Champions League and international football for the 2021/2022 season, as well as the protagonist of the new Sky commercial broadcast starting from the next few days, and Melissa Satta, the new face of “Sky Calcio Club” on Sunday evening with Fabio Caressa, and host of “Goal Deejay”, a program that will close the three days of European cups. Then the new multisport panoramic study of Sky Sport 24 – the first and only sports news channel in Italy, which just turns 13 today – with all the news and insights, a window on all live events with the novelty of the new weekend container “La casa dello sport”: a sort of Diretta Sport, in the studio with Fabio Tavelli (Saturday) e Mario Giunta (Sunday).

Sky continues to focus on cutting-edge technology: continuous innovation, from Sky Sport Tech, as far as Sky Arena, the new frontier of 3D tactical analysis. And again: theApp Live to access match centers, results and standings, and the Split Screen (for Sky Q satellite customers) to follow two live events simultaneously on the same screen and always be at the center of the action. More than 1,600 games

The football offer offers over 1,600 matches: the images of the Azzurri Champions of Europe at Wembley in the UEFA EURO 2020 Final are still in the eyes and hearts of all Italians. It is with the same passion and emotion that Sky talks about the most loved sport, live from the most beautiful stadiums on our continent. The season of great football on Sky has already begun with the first rounds of all three Italian professional leagues: the Serie A TIM (3 games per round and a total of 114 matches per season), the BKT series (all 380 matches of the season, plus playoffs and playouts), the Series C (up to 8 races per day on satellite and digital terrestrial).

The foreign leagues, a fundamental element of Sky’s football offer, have already begun to give goals and entertainment, with the first days of the League 1 French, of the Bundesliga German and the Premier League English. Then, from 14 September, the start of the group stage of UEFA Champions League (with 121 matches per season), UEFA Europa League e UEFA Europa Conference League (all the matches of both Cups also thanks to Diretta Gol), for a total of over 1,600 matches per season. Furthermore, Sky is the TV of the Men’s and women’s Serie A 5-a-side football for the next two years, as well as broadcasting the ninth edition of the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021 (12 September-3 October 2021), la FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup 2022 and the UEFA Youth League.

Original productions

The original Sky Sport productions are always on, become a trademark of programming. New entry of absolute prestige

And a new entry of absolute prestige arrives: Antonio Conte has chosen Sky Sport to live and tell the emotions of great football next season. One of the most successful coaches in the history of modern football will be a special guest in the studios of the Champions League 2021/2022 and in those of international football, to share the experience and passion lived on the pitch, in a career full of companies and successes in all contexts that have seen him as a protagonist, first as a player and then on the bench. Even in the 2021/2022 season, in fact, Sky Sport deploys an extraordinarily talented team, format yes Beppe Bergomi, Esteban Cambiasso, Fabio Capello, Paolo Condò, Alessandro Costacurta, Alessandro Del Piero, Paolo Di Canio, Luca Marchegiani, Giancarlo Marocchi and Nando Orsi.

The studies of Champions League will be led by Anna Billò, with Mario Giunta who will take care of the news spaces, while those of Europa League will be led by Leo Di Bello, with Margherita Cirillo.

Among the new faces of the Sky season, Melissa Satta will be a permanent presence a “Sky Calcio Club”, confirmed on Sunday evening with Fabio Caressa and its prestigious parterre of guests, including Beppe Bergomi, voice of the blue triumph at UEFA EURO 2020.

Saturday night studies, “Sky Calcio the Original”, are led by Alessandro Bonan, with Gianluca Di Marzio (matadors together with Fayna and Marco Bucciantini, tonight and tomorrow, of the final evenings of “Transfer Market – The Original”), Paolo Condò, Billy Costacurta and the “return” of Anne Laure Bonnet, who brings her expertise to international football and will also host a new column, “Mondogol”, broadcast every Monday and dedicated to Sky’s foreign championships.

Two novelties to the conduct of the studies of Serie A: Giorgia Cenni for in-depth information on the match at 12.30 on Sunday (with Stefano De Grandis, Matteo Marani and Giancarlo Marocchi), Federica Masolin to guide the Sky audience in the postponement of Monday evening. The pre and post match events of the Serie B Championship are handled by Marina Presello, while for the studies of international football there is Federica Lodi.

There will be maximum coverage of sporting events also on the site skysport.it, in a version optimized for all mobile devices, with new live match pages to better enjoy the live experience of all the most important matches of the football championships. The Sky Sport website and App (available for iPhone and Android) are also the home of highlights: summaries of all Serie A, Serie B matches, all Serie C goals; the Italians and all the goals in the Champions League, Europe and the Conference League; the best of Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1; and again, the highlights of all the Grand Prix of Formula 1, MotoGP and Superbike, of the NBA races, of the Euroleague, of the main tennis tournaments and of the Italrugby at the Six Nations.

Sky Sport accounts dominate the Italian social media landscape and are the reference point for all sports fans and more. In first place for 23 consecutive months in the ranking of media on social media, Sky Sport has a total community of 8.3 million followers between Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, made up of a third of under 25s. Only in July, Sky Sport achieved the record in Italy for interactions, in total over 57 million, testifying to the ability to involve an increasingly younger audience.
