With an outstanding performance in golf at Tokyo 2020, Sebastián Muñoz achieved an Olympic diploma

The Colombian golfer, Juan Sebastián Muñoz, made a historic presentation this Sunday, August 1, at the Olympics and earned a well deserved Olympic diploma.

The Colombian finished the 18-hole round with 15 strokes under par, tied with another six competitors and, consequently, a tiebreaker had to be made.

Come this moment, Muñoz fought until the third hole of the playoff and kept the hopes of obtaining the medal aliveHowever, luck was not on the side of the Colombian and he was eliminated from the competition in what, without a doubt, it will be a performance that all golf fans will remember.

The gold in this discipline was taken by the American Xander Schauffele, who in a dramatic final (18 under par), retained the lead by just one stroke over Slovak Rory Sabattini (-17), who took silver thanks to the best round of Olympic golf.
