Wilander comes out in defense of Tsitsipas

The former Swedish tennis player and current commentator on Eurosport, Mats Wilander, came out in defense of Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas for the harsh statements of Andy Murray at a press conference about the behavior of the current world number three in his last matches: “Tsitsipas is a boy who sweats a lot, so he has to go change his pants shorts, underwear and T-shirt. I think some people can do that in seven minutes, some take a little longer. I don’t feel like Andy has shown inexperience because he has played for so long on the circuit, but he got so irritated that he didn’t he fought. We have seen the best players do the same as Tsitsipas has done. Nadal, Djokovic, McEnroe, Connors. I don’t think what happened has changed the script of the game, “he concluded.
