Xalapa, Ver.-The Veracruz, Carolina Alonso Mendivil and Ignacio Ruiz Marquinez, national champions in National Games Conade 2021, will be part of the Mexican Tennis Team who will participate in the World Cup by Tennis Teams be held in Prostejov, Czech Republic; the tournament will be from August 2 to 7 of this year.
Carolina Alonso Mendivil, winner of two golds in singles and doubles in the women’s category 14, declared herself ready to face this international event that will feed her with more experience that will serve her for future events where she has to represent the state of Veracruz and Mexico.
Ignacio Ruiz and Carolina are number one in the ranking of the National Children’s and Youth Circuit of the Women’s category 14, organized by the Mexican Tennis Federation.
Both have a lot of experience despite their shortness and it was evident in the great tournament they offered in the past Conade National Games that were held in Guerrero.
The official men’s team is made up of Ignacio Ruiz, from Veracruz; Santiago Portugal, from Guanajuato and Mauricio Schtulmann, from Guanajuato, under the orders of Captain Miguel Ángel Gallardo.
The official women’s team is made up of Carolina Alonso, from Veracruz; Natalia Pérez, from Querétaro and Alexia Estrada, from Morelos, led by the Veracruz captain Luis Díaz Barriga.

The men’s representative will compete against Canada, the Czech Republic, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Tunisia, Japan, Thailand, India, and five European teams that are about to qualify.
