The last group of Indonesian teams competing in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics has arrived safely at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Cengkareng, Banten on Friday (5/8/2021) at around 00.00 WIB.

In addition to the two bronze medalists, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting (men’s singles badminton) and Rahmat Erwin Abdullah (men’s weightlifting number 73 kg), the last group of the Indonesian contingent also brought home the women’s doubles pair who won the gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu.

The same goes for two athletic athletes, Lalu Muhammad Zohri (men’s 100-meter run) and Alvin Tehupeiory (women’s 100-meter run), as well as female lifter Nurul Akmal.

Apart from athletes, there are nine coaches and officials as well as five people from the support team who returned to the country.

The Indonesian Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali directly welcomed the arrival of the contingent of the Indonesian team.
