The story that was painted in bronze, has two protagonists, Alejandra Valencia and Luis Álvarez, the Mexican archers who made us feel part of their arrows.

A match dominated from start to finish by the Mexican sergeant, Valencia, who, thanks to her momentum and precision, gave the necessary confidence to defeat the Turks Yasemin Anagoz and Mete Gazoz, leaving the score 6-2.
With this, the Mexican delegation won its 70th medal in the history of the summer jousts.
