Girona has maintained contact in recent days with right-back Roberto Rosales. The Venezuelan defender, free after ending his contract with Leganés, is attracted to Míchel Sánchez’s sports project and looks forward to coming to Girona. Despite the player’s predisposition, however, there is still nothing firm and it is the club that has the pan by the handle. For now, the conversations are stopped.
The white-and-red coach acknowledged yesterday that finding a reinforcement on the right side is no longer a priority for Girona. The performance of Arnau Martínez in the first two days of the League has changed the mind of Míchel, convinced of what the young defender of Premià de Mar can offer him. He also has Jordi Calavera and Valery Fernández to replace him.
Rosales, called up to the Venezuela national team, is listening to a couple of offers from other teams and could end up in Cyprus.
